A handsome tapestry in ready to hang condition, depicting a hunt in the mid ground with beaters, horses and hounds while in the foreground two ladies relax and pick bushes of flowers. In the very background, a chateau depicted in the distance using a little aerial perspective, surrounded by lush forest. A border of various scenes of courtship with musicians and fruit bearing servants.
This charming tapestry is complete and has a most attractive colour, various shades of green and yellow which is not bad considering the great age.
With multiple old repairs, consistent for the age.
